Project Description:

Because this new type of Care Clinic would set the stage for a roll-out of future iterations across multiple markets, our design concept wholistically included reviewing programming efficiencies in planning, interior design concepts, finishes, furniture, and brand standards.

We designed the clinic standard to centralize the providers’ workspaces, enhance the efficiencies for the staff and to prioritize the patient experience. This includes intuitive circulation, addressing HIPA privacy protections, and selecting materials that express warmth and hospitality. The refreshed reception and waiting area now feel modern and welcoming. Clean, modern signage quickly orients new visitors so they can easily navigate the space.

The homelike environment is an essential part of our design throughout the clinic. Above all, the overarching goal was to help patients feel like people: Comfortable, cared for, and wanted.

Project Description:

Inside the patient rooms, extra insulation and a white noise system helps maintain privacy. Exam rooms were designed to welcome people in many types of situations—with large chairs, options for families and care givers to have more seating.

Project Description:

From the staff perspective, our design emphasizes efficiency and collaboration. A detailed equipment planning package supports testing directly from exam rooms, allowing staff to spend the maximum amount of time with the patient. We also created an implementation package for the client and their vendors to help simplify the complex clinic set up. Our design supported the personal aspects of wellness for all users, including the staff, with a comfortable lactation room and personal rooms for quiet time.
